Positive Discipline Parent Educator

Two-day training for professionals and parents

Would you like to work with parents and offer them a Positive Discipline course yourself? Do you have a practice, do you work with parents and would like to integrate the Positive Discipline method into your work? Are you a professional who works a lot with children and/or parents? Or are you a parent yourself and would you like to learn a lot about Positive Discipline in an intensive and fast way? Then join this training to become a certified Positive Discipline Parent Educator.

Participants will learn:

  • Research-based effective tools and techniques to teach parents how to parent kindly and firmly.

  • Practical applicable ways to promote self-discipline and intrinsic motivation in children.

  • How to gain cooperation and mutual respect within the family, while understanding and learning to deal with challenging behavior.

  • The value of focusing on teaching social and life skills such as empathy, communication, problem solving, independence and responsibility.

  • Through experiential activities you will gain insight into what is behind certain behavior and find out what works and what doesn't.

  • How to facilitate a Positive Discipline parenting class.

LIVE training (in The Netherlands, in Dutch):

March 24th & 25th, 2023 - register before March 10th.

October 6th & 7th 2023 - register before September 22nd.

During the training we will stay at the Conference center De Poort. After registering for the training via the link above you will receive an email from us when you can book your stay. Then you can book your package on the website of the Poort for your lodging and meals.

Investment: For the training (including readers, materials and certification) € 497.50, plus accommodation at De Poort. Note: We assume you already have the Positive Discipline book. If you do not yet have the book, you can purchase it here or during the training.

Accommodation: During the training your accommodation costs will depend on the room choice you make for the overnight stay. This will be approximately €160. For more information, see the website of Conferentieoord de Poort, where we stay during the training.
