Do you want to integrate Positive Discipline at school?

Positive Discipline is not only for parents, but also has many offerings for teachers and schools. It is based on Adlerian psychology which focuses on developing important social and life skills in children, by using practical tools and forming a solid foundation in your classroom. And this all with respect and in connection, both kindly & firmly at the same time. These are the pillars of positive and effective parenting. Based on the idea that we want to guide children to become authentic, responsible adults who can flourish, it is so important that schools and teachers also play a part in this. Positive Discipline provides the tools and skills to achieve this!

What is the value of Positive Discipline for schools?

  • It integrates a large teaching toolbox of kind and firm discipline approaches.

  • It helps to establish explicit classroom structures and procedures.

  • It helps to form an equal and safe community in the classroom based on mutual respect.

  • You learn how to encourage positive change.

  • It focuses on teaching social skills and problem-solving.

  • It generates awareness of cross-cultural issues in facilitating social-emotional learning.

There are three ways to integrate Positive Discipline at your school:

  1. Take the 2-day Positive Discipline Classroom Educator training.

  2. There are various workshop opportunities for teachers and educators.

  3. Become a Positive Discipline Lab School.

How do you deal with difficult moments in the classroom?

How do you create mutual respect in the classroom?

How do you make sure you stay connected with your students?

OPTION 2: COMMUNICATION AND COOPERATION

How do you reach them, and in what way do they listen?

How do you teach them to appreciate what they are doing?

OPTION 3: MOTIVATION AND RESPONSIBILITY
